How to Make Jalapeno Popper Crescent Rolls
You can prepare the filling for these rolls in just minutes. Follow the steps below to get started.
Step 1: Add shredded cheese, jalapenos, cream cheese and sugar to a large mixing bowl.
Step 2: Stir ingredients until the filling is well combined. Set the bowl aside.
Step 3: Take a tube of crescent roll dough and unroll it on a cutting board or work surface. Press the perforated lines together to make one large sheet.
Step 4: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on top of the crescent dough.
Step 5: Roll the dough lengthwise and freeze it for 30 minutes. Repeat the above steps with the second roll of dough.
Step 6: While the dough is in the freezer, preheat oven to 350°F. Then, remove dough and slice each roll into 12 rounds using a knife or a piece of floss.
Step 7: Place dough rounds on a parchment-paper-lined cookie sheet and bake. Allow to cool on a wire rack before serving.

Jalapeno Popper Crescent Pinwheels
Ingredients
- 2 pkg crescent rolls
- 16 oz cream cheese softened
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 oz can of diced jalapeños
- 1 tbsp. Granulated sugar
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, mix togher softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, diced jalapenos, and sugar until well combined.
- Roll out 1 roll of crescent dough, pinching seams together.
- Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the dough.
- Roll up dough into a log shape.
- Repeat with second tube of crescent dough.
- Freeze for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350°F.
- Use a sharp knife or floss to slice each roll of dough into 12 rounds.
- Place rounds 2 inches apart on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and place on cooling rack.
- Serve warm or room temperature.
