    Easy Fruit Nachos

    Make a batch of these easy fruit nachos for a sweet take on an old favorite. Made with warm cinnamon toasted tortillas and topped with fruit, ice cream, and chocolate, this is one snack that will have you coming back for more.

    We love this idea for movie night, even though it almost looks like it could be breakfast. Don't worry, if you are craving a sweet and fruity breakfast, these pancake tacos should do the trick!

    Ingredients needed:

    These easy fruit nachos are almost like building your own sundae. Have a variety of toppings and make it exactly the way you like it.

    Ingredient notes:

    • 6 flour tortillas
    • ½ stick of butter, melted
    • ¾ cup granulated sugar
    • 1 tbsp cinnamon
    • ½ cup strawberries, sliced
    • ½ cup blackberries
    • ½ cup raspberries
    • ½ cup blueberries
    • ½ cup almonds
    • 1 banana sliced
    • 1 tbsp Dark chocolate or caramel syrup to taste
    • 3 scoops vanilla ice cream

    Substitutions

    The best part of this dessert is its versatility. You can make it with peaches, apples, or another favorite fruit instead of berries. Or swap out the ice cream flavors and add whipped cream.

    How to Make Easy Fruit Nachos

    Once the cinnamon sugar chips are baked, all you have to do is top them off. You will love the warm, crispy goodness of these baked tortillas!

    Preheat

    Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.

    Mix cinnamon and sugar

    In a small bowl, mix cinnamon and sugar until well combined.

    Prepare tortillas

    Melt butter in the microwave or a small saucepan on the stovetop, and then brush it over the tortillas.

    Step 4

    Sprinkle 1-2 Tablespoons of the cinnamon sugar on top of each tortilla. Shake off the extra.

    Use a knife or a pizza cutter to cut the tortilla into 6 pieces.

    Put the tortilla chip pieces onto the lined baking sheet and bake for about 12 minutes.

    The chips may feel a little soft when you take them out of the oven, but they will harden as they cool.

    Slice the strawberries or other large fruit pieces.

    Once the chips have cooled, arrange them onto plates. Top with mixed berries, sliced banana, almonds, and ice cream. Drizzle with dark chocolate and caramel syrup.

    Can I bake the tortillas ahead of time?

    Yes, you can make the tortillas the night before, and they will still be crunchy the next day. Store them in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.

    Ingredients

    • Use a knife or a pizza cutter to cut the tortilla into 6 pieces. Put the tortilla chip pieces onto the lined baking sheet and bake for about 12 minutes. They may still feel a little soft when you take them out of the oven, but they will harden as they cool.
