    Ingredient notes:

    • 1 (8 count) can Grands Biscuits
    • 1 (large) package mozzarella cheese pearls
    • 1 (6-8 oz.) can tomato sauce with basil, garlic, and oregano
    • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
    • Garlic salt, to taste
    • 6 tablespoon butter, melted
    • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
    • ½ teaspoon ground oregano
    • ¼ teaspoon dried basil
    • 1 teaspoon brown sugar (yes, again!)
    • Shredded Parmesan cheese, for topping
    • Marinara sauce, for serving

    Ingredient Notes:

    • Biscuits: Grands Biscuits are perfect because they're fluffy and big enough to hold all the cheesy goodness.
    • Cheese: Mozzarella pearls melt into the dreamiest, gooey center. You could cut a block of mozzarella into small cubes if you prefer.
    • Sauce: Using tomato sauce that's already seasoned saves a step - but you can spice it up even more if you like!

    Substitutions:

    • Swap Grands Biscuits for any jumbo canned biscuits you have on hand.
    • Use a different melty cheese like provolone or fontina if mozzarella isn't your thing.
    • Can't find seasoned tomato sauce? Use plain and add a sprinkle of Italian seasoning and garlic powder.

How to Make Cheesy Stuffed Garlic Bread

These come together quickly - and they smell amazing while they bake!

    Step 1

Open the can of tomato sauce and pour it into a small bowl. Stir in a sprinkle of garlic salt and 1 tablespoon of brown sugar.

    Step 2

Lay out the Grands Biscuits on a large piece of parchment paper. Use a rolling pin to flatten each biscuit into a circle.

    Step 3

Spoon about 1 teaspoon of the prepared sauce into the center of each flattened biscuit, then place a mozzarella pearl on top.

    Step 4

Fold up the sides of the biscuit around the filling and pinch tightly to seal into a bundle. Place them seam-side down into a ceramic baking dish.

    Step 5

In a separate bowl, melt the butter. Stir in Italian seasoning, ground oregano, dried basil, and another teaspoon of brown sugar. Spoon the seasoned butter generously over the biscuit bombs, making sure to coat the tops and sides.

    Step 6

Sprinkle shredded Parmesan cheese over everything. Bake at 350°F for about 15 minutes, or until golden brown and baked through. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping!

Frequently asked questions, answers and tips:

Can I make these ahead of time?

Yes! Prep the biscuit bombs and store them covered in the fridge. Bake right before serving.

What's the best cheese to use?

Mozzarella pearls are perfect for the pull-apart effect, but feel free to get creative with cheddar, provolone, or even pepper jack!

Can I use pizza dough instead?

You can! Just cut the dough into small squares, fill, and seal like the biscuit method.

    Tips

Don't overfill the biscuits or they'll burst open during baking.

Seal the dough tightly to keep the cheesy center from leaking out.

Serve with extra marinara or even ranch dressing for dipping!
