Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 6 cups Cocoa Pebbles

For the optional drizzle:

  • ¼ cup chocolate chips melted
  • ¼ cup peanut butter chips melted

Instructions

  • Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  • In a larger pot, add the butter and melt over medium-low heat.
    3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Add in the mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, and peanut butter and heat , stirring often, until all of the ingredients have melted. Be careful not to burn.
4 cups mini marshmallows, ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, ¼ cup creamy peanut butter
  • Remove from the heat and add in the cereal. Stir until the cereal is coated completely.
    6 cups Cocoa Pebbles
  • Pour the cereal mixture into the prepared dish and spread it evenly. Do not press it down too firmly or they will become hard.
  • Allow to cool completely, then cut into 12 bars.

Make the drizzle:

  • In a small microwave safe bowl, add the chocolate chips and peanut butter chips and heat for 30 seconds in the microwave. Remove and stir until melted. Heat for a few more seconds if necessary. Be careful not to overheat or it may seize and become too thick to use.
¼ cup chocolate chips, ¼ cup peanut butter chips
  • With a spoon, drizzle the melted chocolate and peanut butter over the top of the bars and allow it to set.

Notes

Add ½ cup of mini marshmallows or Reese's pieces or M&M's to the cereal mixture before spreading it into the dish.
Use Cocoa Krispies if desired.
Use a piece of waxed paper to firmly press the cereal mixture into place.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.
Freeze in a freezer bag for up to 2 months.
