Cheesy Goulash Reciipe

This classic Cheesy Goulash recipe combines ground beef and tomatoes with smoky paprika and spices and macaroni for an easy meal everyone loves!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 14.5 ounce can diced tomatoes
  • 14.5 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 ¼ cup elbow macaroni noodles uncooked
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Add onion and beef to a large pot or skillet with a lid and brown over medium high heat until no longer pink. break into small pieces with a wooden spoon or spatula as it cooks.
  • Add garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, soy sauce salt and pepper and stir to combine well.
  • Add in both cans of tomatoes with the juice and the broth.
  • Stir to combine and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce to simmer and cover. Cook for 10 minutes.
  • Add the dry pasta, stir to combine and cook for 7-8 minutes until pasta is tender or to desired consistency.
  • Remove from stove and let rest for 5 minutes.
  • Then add in the cheeses and stir to combine.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Substitute 1 teaspoon or oregano and 1 teaspoon basil for Italian seasoning.
Use your favorite jarred spaghetti sauce instead of the canned tomatoes, garlic and spices.
Use water instead of the broth.
Use other pasta like rigatoni or large shells if desired.
